The Police Control Room monitors the activities of all Police Stations in Mira-Bhayandar, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate, Control room is responsible for daily review of all the crimes registered in all the police stations under the entire commissionerate, as well as law and order incidents, crimes, accidents, arrival and departure of important and very important persons, providing appropriate police assistance to the elderly and needy people of the society, young children / girls as per their demand. Also, possible incidents etc. are reviewed and based on that, information is presented in a concise form to the honorable seniors and the orders of the seniors are sent to the concerned and thus help in carrying out the government work smoothly.
The main work of the control room is to maintain the phone duty register, dial 112 register, Thane diaries, attendance register, P. P. High Court register, L.A.Q. register, as well as the arrival and departure register in the entire commissionerate. The daily report of Dial 112 is sent to the Honorable Commissioner of Police, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters), Assistant Commissioner of Police and the Officer-in-Charge of all police stations in the Commissionerate. Also, information is taken daily whether the CCTV cameras of all police stations in the Commissionerate are on or off. The said report is submitted to the Honorable seniors daily through e-office. Also, information about the police station justice manpower under the Commissionerate is collected and submitted to the honorable seniors. Also, the important work to be done at the control room is DCR, MPIS, phone duty, CRO duty, office work, clerk/barnishi, general duty officer, commissionerate night patrol planning and monitoring, conference room, manpower, CCTV, e-beat punching information, as well as taking the location of the police station in-charge and senior officers and beat marshals in the entire commissionerate, police commissioner's internal commissionerate night patrol, robbery prevention night patrol-01, robbery prevention night patrol-02, thus night patrols are planned and implemented under the guidance of the honorable seniors. Accordingly, the appropriate daily important work is being carried out by the control room without fail.
